Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, who is on a three-day visit to Uttarakhand, suddenly fell ill moments after addressing the Golden Jubilee program at Kumaon University in Nainital.

🕒 What Happened: After completing his 45-minute speech, where he repeatedly

mentioned his former Lok Sabha colleague Dr. Mahendra Singh Pal, Dhankhar stepped down from the stage to greet him personally.

The two shared an emotional reunion—hugging and recalling old memories.

Witnesses reported that Dr. Pal became visibly emotional and broke into tears during the interaction. Seeing this, Vice President Dhankhar also became overwhelmed and started crying while holding him.

💬 Sudden Health Scare: Amidst this emotional moment, Dhankhar’s health suddenly deteriorated and he collapsed while still holding Dr. Pal.Medical teams present at the venue rushed in and gave him immediate primary treatment on-site.

🏥 Current Status: Following first aid, Dhankhar left with Governor Gurmeet Singh towards the Raj Bhawan for rest and further observation.Officials have not released details of any serious medical condition.
