🚨 Tragedy in Dehradun: Army Truck Crushes Scooter, Two Friends Killed

A devastating accident in Dehradun’s Clementown area claimed the lives of two young friends after an army truck ran over their scooter early Thursday morning.
The deceased have been identified as Vaibhav Joshi (22), a student originally from Almora currently living
in Dehradun, and Ritika Joshi, a resident of Balawala. The duo was returning from Rishikesh around
4:30 AM when their scooter was struck by the army vehicle on the Clementown road.
They were immediately rushed to a private hospital in critical condition, but despite medical efforts, both succumbed to their injuries. Clementown police have registered a case against the driver of the army truck following a formal complaint by a relative of one of the victims.
Lt Col Manish Srivastava, Army PRO in Dehradun, has described the incident as an unfortunate accident and confirmed that the army is fully cooperating with the ongoing investigation. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem and handed over to the respective families.
